Spirekassen - A Network for Early Career Researchers at the Department of Public Health

Spirekassen (The Incubator) hosts monthly meetings and is a community where PhD students can connect with likeminded people and discuss both scientific matters and PhD related issues like courses, supervisors, and research stays.

‘Spirekassen’ is the Young Researchers Network located at CSS at the Department of Public Health. It has not been active for a few years due to Covid lockdowns, but now we are back!

Next Meeting Details:
• Date: March 8th 2024
• Time: 12:00-13:30 (Welcome to bring your lunch!)
Location: 5.0.22, CSS, UCPH.
• Featured Speaker: Dan Wolf Meyrowitsch, Associate Professor at School of Global Health
• Topic: Chatbots in a global health context: Democratizing access to evidence-based health information or the next level of misinformation?

The main target group for ‘Spirekassen’ is PhD students at CSS (where meetings are held), but we are a very non-exclusive group who welcomes everyone interested.  So, if you have a friend or a colleague who wants to join and is part of the Department of Public Health but not usually located at CSS, please write to Christina Frost-Hartwig, christina.frost-hartwig@sund.ku.dk, and we will make sure to add them on the mailing list.
